| Jesse's been in missouri since the end of February (why are there so
many "R"s?) and is there until May 11... super suck... but I'm going to
see him the end of March for the weekend. I was originally hoping to
work an extra shift to pay for a flight with the overtime money.... but
the more music i download to my ipod, the more i'm looking forward to a
long drive by myself with the windows down and drinking 50 cent gas
station coffee... besides working and becoming nocturnal (I've
been staying up until about 7 am every night and going to bed after the
sun goes back down... there's not a whole lot going on....
I went out
last weekend with my friends from school to this "lounge" (it turned out to be a club...eh) where a
very german man at leat 15 years our senior asked us what we "do" and i
told he we were all nurses ... to which he asked if i wanted to examine
him and motioned to take his jacket off... after telling him no and him
asking three more times his friend (or some random stranger) who looked
alot like most of the patients we get at JPS wearing a cowboy hat and
shiny black boots jumped in and introduced himself as a "rockstar" ...
needless to say we hurriedly got our drinks and made our way
downstairs.

| march 18th of '06 was the last time I posted anything wow... I actually
got on here to cancel my account so I could get rid of the bookmark but
when i got on my page I just couldn't do it... i had no problem
cancelling my lame myspace though... that's right i called it
lame. well in the past year a few major things have happened;
1) I am now married to Jesse Proctor, you can call me Mrs. Proctor,
thank you. And of course I no longer live with my dad ... that would be
weird... Jesse and I live in West Fort Worth at the edge of the world
but our apt is super cute...).
2) I am done DONE with school,
as of december 2006, took my boards februrary 6th and am now a
registered nurse (thats Mrs. Proctor R.N.) I never thought I'd enjoy
having initials after my name so much.
3) I quit the psych ward right before the wedding and was working @
Harris downtown and also @ JPS... JPS rocks my face off and I quit
Harris 5 months after I got there, so now JPS is recieving the benefits
of my education 3 nights a week... don't bother trying to call me
there, I'm busy saving lives... or cleaning poo either/or.
4) The Honda civic has been retired with almost 130,000 miles on it,
the rear bumper needed to be replaced, my brother in law left hand
shaped dents on the trunk lid when he was skateboarding into it,
numerous dents appeared while parked in one of the many area wal marts,
driver side window was being held up by a peice of wood my husband
shoved into the door, and stereo hasn't worked since septemberish...
and im sure lots of other stuff i couldn't see (pretty sure some
transmission stuff/timing belt)... I am now driving an 07 Volkswagon
GTI... yeah it's pretty sweet, also the key is one of those that flips
out when i push a button on the remote... even sweeter.
5) next up... probably a house... in a few years ...yay for being an
adult, but its nice to be making the kind of money where i can actually
start saving... so stay in school kids.

| so bored... so this was my last spring break... well for a while
anyways, i consider it my last spring break of my school career. You'd
think I woulve gone out and done something significant to commemorate
this event. but the thing about going to a community college is that
most of the other people are married or working full time or broke or
whatever... usually im in there with the poor folks, saving money and
bringing my lunch and whatnot... but i got my tax return last monday
and had some plans to go blow it all on something fun but useless. I
had the week off cause i planned ahead and said to myself "there's no
way in heck that im working with the brats during spring break" cause
the only kids we'd get would be the ones who got caught drinking or
drugging or selling drugs cause it's spring break time... and usually,
yes, they are brats. Not to say that we don't get kids with real
problems, but after being there for a few months you notice a pattern.
Around report card time we get the ones who've had meltdowns and the
overacheivers, after a weekend or a holiday the ones on drugs or
drinking, or who've run away etc... but i digress... so i had the week
off and you know what i did with it? sat around and watched anime
recorded to my DVR bought some crap on e-Bay, raked the backyard and
planted some flowers. Now Jesse's at drill and I miss him, and i have
nothing to do. ... i think i'll go shopping. waste some of that money.
on a positive note, i went to two job fairs and talked to a few
recruiters who i later emailed or called, and so far they've all seemed
interested... so we'll see next week what comes of all of this.
maybe i can get out of the psych ward and into PCU or Telemetry unit...
ooh or Surgical. which would be really awesome.

| Many new things are happening in my exciting life! well maybe not exciting... busy is more the word i was looking for. Im two clinicals away from being done with pediatrics (that's two weeks) and got to miss school today cause campus was closed until 10 my class goes from 8-10 so yay me. im teaching a bunch of little kids about nutrition and the food guide pyramid on wednesday. My church's play for Easter is coming up quickly and since I'm producing it I've got a bunch to do... after I finish here Im off to goodwill/thriftown/walmart to look for props and costume stuff. Anyone who enjoys a good courtroom drama or maybe you want something good to do the week of Easter is welcome to come. Its a five act play written and directed by my pastor, with the sets being built by Jesse and it's gonna be awesome. There should be a mention of it in the religion section of the tlegram soon and maybe on the community calender on cable. I've been working at the hospital for 6 months now so im eligable to transfer within THR and Harris Downtown just opened a cardiac unit... and i saw some surgical tech positions open (Id be in pre-op or post-op, not the actual OR) and it would be a nice change to be learning something while I'm at work. Not that i don't like working there. I worked on Sunday and thought it would be a total suck-fest, but it was one of the better days ive had there.... there's something about fingerpainting that puts me in such a good mood. anyway thats alll for now, i'll try not to gor over a month before writing again.
